Star is a sweet 3-year-old girl who is looking for her furever home. She is potty trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. Star does well with kids who are taller than her (little ones make her nervous). She loves people but like a typical shepherd, she takes a moment to be comfortable with people. She would prefer to be an only child because that is what she is used to. She may do well with the right laidback dog. We do not know how she is with cats.

Meet Tommy. He is a 4-year-old social butterfly who lives for human interaction. Tommy spends his days greeting people at the shelter, helping with (napping on) paperwork, exploring everywhere, and spreading happiness wherever he goes. Since Tommy is FIV positive he is looking for a home where he is the only cat or there are other FIV cats.

Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) is one of the most common infectious diseases of cats around the world. In infected cats, FIV attacks the immune system, much like AIDS in humans. Though there is no cure for FIV, recent studies suggest that cats with FIV commonly live average life spans.

He loves meeting new friends and loves greeting people with kisses. He is raised with small kids and he adores them! Moe’s only flaw is that he doesn’t realize he is 77 pounds and does not understand personal space.

Moe seems to do well with other dogs but a meet and greet is necessary.
