This 65-pound beefcake is Bo. He is around 2.5 years old and is a total lovebug. He is best friends with everyone he meets and is always ready for an adventure. Balls are his favorite, but any toy will do with Bo. He LOVES to play and run in the yard. He would do best with a fenced-in yard and a very active family. Bo LOVES the water and would make a great adventure buddy! Bo is still a puppy at heart and will need help with remembering his manners. He gets so excited that he can become a bull moose. Bo is very smart, so training will help him bond with his new family. Bo loves kids, but he will accidentally knock over little ones. Bo seems to like other dogs, but a meet-and-greet is required. Bo is mostly potty trained.

Hi, I’m Wybie! I’m estimated to be around 4 years old, and I am ready to start the next chapter in my story. A couple of months ago, I was trapped by a very nice lady doing TNR. When she took me to the vet, we discovered I have FIV. So… that was the end of the outside life for me. At first, I was not too thrilled with the idea, but now I’m loving life! Why didn’t anyone tell me that inside cats have it made! I’ve discovered I love affection, especially check scratches and belly rubs. I’m at my most at peace lounging in a cat condo or napping on a cozy perch. I’m super interested in being friends with other cats, but I will retreat immediately if they get sassy. I don’t mind the presence of my foster dog sibling, and I’m very curious about them. I’ve been a stray cat, now I’m a loved foster cat, but I’m ready to be someone’s adored fur baby.

This pet is currently in a foster home. You will need an approved application and an appointment to meet him.

Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) is one of the most common infectious diseases of cats around the world. In infected cats, FIV attacks the immune system, much like AIDS in humans. Though there is no cure for FIV, recent studies suggest that cats with FIV commonly live average life spans. FIV+ and cat-friendly non-FIV cats can safely live together in the same household. Because the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus is primarily transmitted through deep bite wounds, casual indoor contact like sharing food, water, or grooming does not spread the virus.

Please call the shelter at 810-657-8962 for more information. Please email the shelter at societypets@att.net or visit us at sanilaccountyhumanesociety.org for an application.

Daisy is an energetic and playful 30-pound 1-year-old looking for a best friend. She is looking for a family that loves to play, going for walks, and loves getting kisses. Daisy is still a puppy, so she needs a family to teach her to be the best doggie ever (she’s already partly there (; ).

This pet is in foster. You will need an appointment and an approved application to meet her.

Patrick is a sweet 6-year-old boy with a gentle soul. He loves chin scratches, all toys, food of all kinds, being talked to, butt pats, and butt scratches. Patrick would love to spend the rest of his days lounging on your couch ( or on your lap) watching TV with you. He is just an outgoing, sweet, and happy guy who loves everyone! Except for dogs, Patrick HATES dogs. Patrick does not seem to mind laid-back cats that respect his space, but he would be happiest as an only child.
