Hello, my name is Mama Smurf I’m around 2 years old. My two years of life haven’t been the easiest. I was recently abandoned on the streets of Detroit with my 5 puppies. We didn’t have very much to eat but I gave everything that I had to my puppies. Some very nice people found us and got us the help we needed. Now we are here at SCHS and my puppies are warm and safe. I am finally starting to gain some weight, I am still protective of my food with other animals. After everything I have been through, everyone says I deserve a couch of my own. I’m not sure what a couch is but along as it is warm and I get pets, it sounds great to me. Cuddles is my new favorite thing but toys are a close second. I am a happy girl who loves people, although some men make me uncomfortable but I like them for the most part. Now that my puppies have all found their forever homes I can finally be the puppy I never got to be! I love to play and run around like a goof! I am still learning my manners because no one ever bothered to teach me before but I am very food motivated and am willing to learn anything you are willing to teach me. I love would love to be the only dog in the house, so I can get all the love! Because I require some training and a little extra love, I would do best with an experienced dog owner. If I sound like a girl you are willing to let love you, I will never let you regret it!!
